life or sport. Physical therapy is provided by appointment only.

- Our athletic
training services manage, treat, and prevent injuries that may occur

for a team or facility. All coverage is provided by a NJ licensed,
Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).
Strength, agility and sport specific conditioning
– Our strength, agility and
sport

the mental and physical demands of sport. All programs are sport
and age specific, designed to enhance performance by increasing
strength, power, speed, and agility. We use the newest research-
proven techniques to achieve these desired outcomes. Programs are
available for individuals, small group, large group, teams and camp
sessions.

of consultation services including: site needs analysis, workstation
ergonomic assessment, program design and facility design and layout. We
also offer educational seminars on nutrition and diet, weight loss,
supplementation, steroid non-use, proper body mechanics and much more.
TREATMENT AND REHABILITATION
PHILOSOPHY
Treatment regimens are individualized based on diagnosis, individual
goals and individual limitations; no two individuals are treated exactly
the same because no two individuals are the same.
Pain reduction and inflammation control
We
use modalities such as ice, moist heat, ultrasound, TENS, and
interferential electrical stimulation to gain control over pain,
muscle spasms, or swelling associated with the injury.
Restore joint mobility and tissue mobility
During the second phase of the rehabilitation process, we employ
manual therapy techniques of massage, joint mobilization, soft tissue
mobilization, self-stretching, and other techniques to restore range
of motion and flexibility to the affected areas.
Strength training for core function
We
believe in beginning strength training to the affected area only after
adequate range of motion is restored. The supporting structural
stabilizers in the affected region are targeted first and foremost,
which lays the groundwork for a strong foundation leading to
functional strength training.
Strength training and sport specific conditioning for return to
competition
With restored joint mobility and a strong foundation of core
stabilizers, the athlete will be ready to begin a safe and appropriate
strength training and/or sport specific conditioning routine. This
will enable the individual to achieve a quicker, more prepared return
to functional active lifestyle and/ or competition.
